Genesis Archer is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and motivational speaker. She was born in Jacksonville, FL, on May 28, 1983. Genesis has been singing and writing since the tender age of ten. While most ten-year-old children were busy playing, Genesis was finding her purpose. Her parents, who are both musically inclined, attributed to her walking into destiny at an early age. The church where her parents raised her sings Acapella music. There, Genesis sang with the church youth chorus, and at the age of seventeen, she became the Directress of The Northside Church Of Christ Youth Chorus(N.Y.C). She also became a member of the highly sought-after Total Praise Ensemble under the direction of Andrew Daniels, III.  Her parents also enrolled her in performing art schools, where she excelled in creative arts and music. You can see now that vocal harmony is deeply rooted in her DNA. Her parents, church, vocal mentors, and exposure to various musical genres have been her most influential inspiration musically.  There are several renowned artists, both secular and gospel, whose style and genre have also greatly influenced her musical style. Genesis prides herself on being able to infuse Neo Soul, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, and Gospel to create a unique sound that appeals to the masses. She is married to Mark Archer, and they share four children Layla, Mason,Madison,and Mateo.
